Acceptance of Terms
By registering, paying fees, or attending any class or programme offered by Foundation Gurukul, you (the parent/guardian on behalf of the student) unconditionally accept these Terms & Conditions in their entirety.
If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you must not proceed with enrollment. These terms apply to all students regardless of the mode of joining â in-person, via WhatsApp, telephone, or any other medium.
Foundation Gurukul reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued enrollment after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.
Enrollment & Admission
Admission is subject to availability of seats in the requested batch. Registering interest does not guarantee a seat. A seat is confirmed only upon receipt of the admission fee and completion of the enrollment form.
- Students must be enrolled in Class 9, 10, 11, or 12 at a recognised school to be eligible for coaching.
- Parents must provide accurate and complete information during enrollment. Any misrepresentation may result in cancellation of admission without refund.
- Foundation Gurukul reserves the right to refuse admission to any applicant at its sole discretion.
- Students may be informally assessed before batch placement to ensure suitability.
- Each student must have a registered parent or guardian WhatsApp contact for all Institute communications.
Fees & Payment Policy
All fees are to be paid in advance as communicated at enrollment. The fee structure is subject to change at the start of each academic session.
- Admission Fee: One-time, non-refundable, payable at joining to confirm the seat.
- Monthly Tuition Fee: Payable by the 5th of every month. A late fee of âš100 per week applies on overdue amounts.
- Study Material Fee: Charged once per session; covers printed notes, question banks, and practice papers.
- Hostel Fee (if applicable): Payable quarterly in advance; includes accommodation, meals, and housekeeping.
- Payments must be made via cash, UPI, or bank transfer. Receipts are issued for all payments.
- Students with fees outstanding beyond 30 days may be suspended from classes until dues are cleared.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Our refund policy is designed to be fair to both the student and the Institute. Please read carefully before enrolling.
- Admission Fee: Strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.
- Before batch begins (7+ days notice): 100% refund of tuition paid, minus âš500 administrative charge.
- Within first 15 days of batch: 50% refund of the paid term fee, after deducting admission and material charges.
- After 15 days: No refund on tuition fees for the current month or term in progress.
- Hostel Fee: Pro-rata refund for full unused months with 30 days' written notice. No refund for partial months.
Attendance & Code of Conduct
Regular attendance and respectful behaviour are fundamental expectations for all enrolled students.
- A minimum attendance of 75% per month is mandatory. Students falling below this may be barred from internal tests.
- Leaves must be communicated in advance via WhatsApp to the class coordinator. Unexplained absences of 3+ consecutive days will trigger a parent call.
- Arriving more than 10 minutes late is counted as a half-absence.
- Mobile phones are prohibited during class unless explicitly permitted by the teacher for academic purposes.
- Disruptive behaviour, disrespect towards teachers or peers, abusive language, ragging, or bullying is grounds for immediate expulsion without refund.
- All assigned homework, practice papers, and assessments must be completed on time.
Hostel & Accommodation Rules
Students residing at the Foundation Gurukul hostel must follow these residential rules to ensure safety and well-being of all residents.
- Hostel hours are 6:00 AM â 10:30 PM. Lights-out is mandatory by 10:30 PM on all weekdays.
- Students must inform the hostel warden before leaving the premises at any time.
- Family visits are permitted only on Sundays, 10 AM â 5 PM, and must be pre-arranged.
- Students are responsible for cleanliness of their assigned room. Damage to Institute property will be charged to the parent.
- Possession or consumption of tobacco, alcohol, or prohibited substances results in immediate expulsion.
- The Institute is not responsible for loss or theft of personal valuables. Students are advised not to bring expensive items.
- Meal timings are fixed. Students who miss meals are not entitled to compensation.
Academic Policy
Foundation Gurukul is committed to excellent coaching; however, academic outcomes depend significantly on the student's own effort and commitment.
- Foundation Gurukul does not guarantee specific marks, grades, ranks, or results in board or any other examinations.
- Absent students during scheduled internal tests will be marked zero unless prior written leave approval was granted.
- Sharing internal test papers, notes, or materials outside the Institute without written permission is a disciplinary offence.
- The Institute reserves the right to change teachers, batch timings, or syllabus sequence as deemed necessary. Prior notice will be given wherever possible.
- Batch transfers may be permitted at management's sole discretion, subject to seat availability and academic suitability.
Privacy & Data Policy
Foundation Gurukul values the privacy of its students and families. We collect personal information only for educational and administrative purposes.
- Information collected includes name, age, address, school details, contact numbers, email, and academic performance records.
- This data is used solely for communication, progress tracking, internal records, and WhatsApp updates to parents.
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with any third party for commercial purposes.
- Student photographs and academic achievements may be used on our website or promotional materials, with prior consent.
- By providing your WhatsApp number, you consent to receiving updates, reminders, and performance reports via WhatsApp.
- To opt out of WhatsApp communications, notify us in writing. This may affect timely receipt of important updates.
Parent & Guardian Responsibilities
Parents and guardians play an essential role in a student's journey. The following is expected of every enrolled student's parent or guardian:
- Ensure the student attends classes regularly, on time, and completes assigned work at home.
- Maintain a valid, active WhatsApp contact and inform the Institute promptly of any change in contact details.
- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs). Inability to attend must be communicated in advance.
- Clear all fee dues on time to avoid any disruption to the student's coaching schedule.
- Do not approach teachers directly via personal contact; all academic queries should go through official Institute channels.
- Raise any grievances with management calmly and constructively through the Institute's formal process.
Intellectual Property
All educational content, notes, practice papers, question banks, recordings, and materials created or distributed by Foundation Gurukul are the exclusive property of the Institute.
- Materials may be used for personal study only. Sharing, reproducing, selling, or distributing them â digitally or physically â without written permission is strictly prohibited.
- Recording of classes (audio or video) without explicit permission is not permitted.
- Violation of intellectual property rights may result in immediate cancellation of enrollment and legal action.
Limitation of Liability
Foundation Gurukul shall not be held liable for:
- Dissatisfaction with board examination results, as outcomes depend on individual performance and external examination bodies.
- Any injury, loss, or damage on or off premises, unless directly caused by gross negligence of the Institute.
- Interruptions due to unforeseen events such as natural calamities, government orders, power failures, or public disturbances. Make-up classes will be arranged wherever possible.
- Loss or theft of personal property on Institute or hostel premises.
- Medical expenses arising from illness or injury during coaching or residential stay.
Amendments to These Terms
Foundation Gurukul reserves the right to amend or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon being posted on this page or communicated via WhatsApp or email to enrolled families.
It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to review the current version periodically. Continued enrollment after amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
For significant changes affecting fees, refund policy, or student rights, a minimum of 15 days' notice will be provided before the changes take effect.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the city where Foundation Gurukul operates.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first seek resolution through mutual discussion and mediation. Legal proceedings will be initiated only if an amicable resolution cannot be reached.
Foundation Gurukul values long-term relationships with all enrolled families and believes most concerns can be resolved through open, respectful dialogue with the management.
